The Global Nutrition Report 2018 highlights some very alarming data for Albanians.
If we look at the diet board and the needs we meet or not, there are plenty of room for alarm. We are preoccupied with processed meat products but also meat products while suffering for fruit, milk, dried fruit, and food containing “Omega 3”.
Even with legams or calcium we're down the risk limit, which signals a higher mortality rate associated with these food groups. But what seems more disturbing is overspending the level of the optimum diet.
Albanians turn out to exceed their diet in categories that have the worst impact on human health. These three categories are salt, sugar drinks, and processed meat. The password also has fats, reports “can”.
The only food category at the rate for Albanians seems to be that of vegetables, where daily doses taken are optimistic for a healthy life. Another most alarming input of the report is the fact that Albania is one of four countries with the highest level of obesity in children, along with Libya, Ukraine and Montenegro.
It turns out that in our country, 30% of male children and 20% of female children are overweight. For adults, meanwhile, this rate is estimated at 65% for men and 51% for women, which means that more than half the population in our country is overweight, which also causes serious health and quality of living.
