Albanian students present their demands to Parliament

As the first point in this letter to the Parliament, students list the requirement for increased education budgets to 5% of GDP, with the aim of halved the fee for each level of study.
Students also seek improved teaching and infrastructure in universities and dormitories, as well as budget transparency from the Ministry of Education, Higher Education Institutions and on-line spending.
Another requirement in the student's letter to the Parliament is the 10th to 50% total burden of student voting to elect candidates for Dean and Rector, as well as every faculty to have a student representative in the Academy Senate.
Also, student protesters seek to review academic titles and verify plagiarisms and textbooks.
Other demands include equipping the student's card, building libraries with European standards, and assessing the performance of teachers in teaching and research.
