The data was released on World AIDS Day, from Unicef to Children's Report, HIV and AIDS: the world in 2030. The report's predictions are frightening. Otherwise 76 young people will lose their lives every day, without further investments in prevention, diagnosis and HIV treatment programmes. Given population projections and according to current trends, the number of new HIV infections between children and young people between 0 and 19 years in 2030 will reach about 270,000 cases, with a decline of one third compared to current estimates.
The situation of those affected by HIV is presented as problematic in our country.
