Xhemailil Mustafa's son relates to the moment he understood his father's murder

Besian is also the son of the LDK's murdered event, which had also been LDK spokesman during the 1990s, Xhemail Mustafa.

He says that in the years he was 16, he had not had many conversations with Dad about politics or the situation of time, but only about the history of the Albanian people.

The son of Xhemajl Mustafa relates the moment when he realized that his father was injured and that he had failed to survive his wounds.

I was at a “Sami Frasher” following lessons. They came to pick me up with Sister Besiana with the school principal back then, and as 16 years old, I didn't know what was going on. In the car, I was told that Dad was injured- this was information we had right now. We're back at the apartment in Dardan. A policeman had come. UNMIK asked me if I knew English. After I said yes, he had given me condolences your father failed to survive”, informs Behrani of the moment he considers the most difficult in life.

“Even though we had great pain, we didn't know how to act because different international media had flooded our apartment. They told us that we understand that you have great pain, but the world must know what happened today in Kosovo”, Berian further relates.

LDK spokesman also shows the conversation he had with President Rugova at the time, following his father's murder.

“President Rugova more tried to comfort us and give us hope for the future, and above all, gave us hope that soon it would reveal who my father's assassin's commanding officer”, tells the son of LDK's activities, who adds that for the family Mustafa “the very important needs to know who was my father's boss for killing”.

For the Mustafa family, Behrani says the names that have circulated in the media as members of Xhemajl Mustaf, but “the beginning of the trial and the condemnation of my father's killers and other LDK activists”.

He says it's easy that killing his father has occurred for political reasons.
Behrani shows that after seven years in the US he has decided to return to Kosovo and contribute to the development of the state.

I worked in commercial banks of various agencies, but now I have decided to become LDK spokesman”, he says.
As economists, Behrani says these 20 years in Kosovo have taken a lot of politics and very little with the economy.

If we deal with the economy for the next two decades, we have the potential to maintain our youth in Kosovo”, Besian Mustafa said.
