Undrinking pregnant mothers may think they're doing everything they need for their pregnancy, but a few glasses of wine a month are not a problem, suggests Nicholas.
While there is a connection between excessive alcohol consumption and baby development problems, new evidence indicates that mothers who have had little alcohol during pregnancy have had a better development of the baby than those who have not drunk at all.
In another recent study, an international team from Ireland, England, New Zealand, and Australia compared the births of mothers who had drunk wine during pregnancy.
The findings revealed that by drinking a few drinks a month during pregnancy, but even in the first few weeks of pregnancy, it did not seem to increase the risk of a baby's weaker weight or higher blood pressure.
Experts believe that pregnant women do not need to guard against alcoholic beverages. However, publications at Harvard Health Blog indicated that several glasses of wine a week during pregnancy are not harmful. /DardaniaPost
