Dragisa Markovic's wife, the policeman who was arrested today by the Kosovo Police Special Forces, has confessed how the whole event had taken place.
They came at 5:30 in the morning. I opened the door, and they then took it. I don't know why it happened and I have no information yet. Those were dozens of cops coming in. I still don't feel well, because I had to calm down the little kid who got really scared. I don't know where he is, I don't know anything”, she said, RTS writes.
Even a neighbour of the Markovic family has said he has seen a large number of police officers in the building.
“This morning we were awakened by loud noises. I woke up and wanted to know what was happening in the building where I lived. I couldn't get out of the apartment door because there was a large number of Kosovo police officers with long weapons”, he confessed.
He says that from the balcony of the apartment he saw the moment of the arrest of two policemen -- Curic and Markovic -- and the moment they got into the car.
It was really scary”, he said.
Today's action of the Kosovo Police Special Forces has become part of the plan to capture persons suspected of the murder of Oliver Ivanovic.
The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has said there is no political background.
