Doctors who treated a man suffering pain at the lower part of his belly were shocked to discover a stone in his bladder, the size of an ostrich egg on it.
The 55-year-old patient, the so-called Jou, had experienced swelling in the womb and difficulties in urination before doctors removed the 13cm-in diameter stone during an operation.
The person told Chinese media that he often kept his urine for long hours. He also said he didn't drink enough water.
Doctors in Wuhan, Provinca Hubei, discovered the stone presented in the human bladder after conducting CAT scans and planned an operation.
The bladder stones form in the human body when they cannot empty their bladder, forming a strong collection of minerals as a result of urinary crystallization.
Health conditions affect males 50 years old and older.
