The founding prosecutor in Prizren has filed charges against the former Suhareka municipality chairman, Sali Aslanaj and the U.S. in quality of the director of the Municipal Education Directorate in Suhareka, and M.H., in quality of the SFMF director “bayram Curri<1> in the village of Nisor, the Suhareka municipality.
According to the prosecution, these defendants allegedly committed criminal work “Kestum use of official position or authority”.
According to the indictment, the defendants are suspected of exploiting the official position, exceeding their competencies with the aim of benefiting whatever benefit for the other person, concerning the Agreement on Understanding and Co-finance between the Suhareka Community and the NGO “Kosovo Hope” for the project “transfer of students”, violating the Public Procuration Law No.04-042, the Law for Public Finance Management No.04, as 03-04, as a 01/06 financial rule.
