News that Grenada has drawn recognition of Kosovo, as Serbian news agency “tanug” writes, has been communicated by the ministers of Serbia's and Grenada Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dachic and Peter David.
I can inform you that Grenada is the ninth state that has cancelled all previous decisions regarding Kosovo's status, which means recognising Kosovo as an independent state”, the Serbian Foreign Minister Daciq said on the morning of today, for “Tanjungun”, after, reportedly, meeting his counterpart from Grenada, an island state in Middle America.
He has also officially sent me Grenada's mark for Serbia, where it is clear that Grenada has changed its stance on Kosovo's status. And yes, given that dialogue is under way, this state thinks that no decision should be made for Kosovo's status before the end of the dialogue and that it will respect the results of the dialogue, and in this context, it is cancelled, therefore removing all previously made decisions or statements concerning the status of Kosovo”, Daciqi said, broadcasts Koha.net.
He says it is another major result, not only in denying Kosovo's independence, but also a major result in understanding this problem.
According to “Tanjugut”, Grenada Foreign Minister David has said co-operation with Serbia is based on deep mutual co-operation for sovereignty and non-intervention on internal affairs.
“These principles between the countries will continue and I am satisfied with the results of the co-operation that will emerge from agreements signed for the benefit of the Serbian people and the Grenada”, David said, according to “Tangig”.
Meanwhile, Jethlir Zyberaj, adviser to Kosovo Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli, for Koha.net has said that this news, as well as the previous ones on the same subject, is simply “lies”.
We have diplomatic relations with Grenada. The bubbles that Serbia is creating are simply lies to their fear of certain important processes in the days ahead --”, Zyberaj has said, not showing what processes are being discussed.
