New research has come to the conclusion that this does little good to mental health.
A study published in “Psych NENET” has discovered that hiding a secret can increase anxiety and negatively affect one's social behavior!
A team at Columbia University surveyed about 600 participants and found that more and 96% of people kept secrets, more sentimental nature, namely, the most harmful secrets to the human brain.
On average, one person thinks of his secret twice a day, and that concern increases the state of anxiety and fear.
