Bosnia and Herzegovina Trade Minister Mirko Sarovic has said that the Republic of Kosovo's decision to impose a 10 per cent tax on all products imported from Bosnia is a precedent and cannot be tolerated.
Sarovic says such a decision by the Government of Kosovo is in complete opposition to the basic trade principles that are provided by the CEFTA agreement.
“However, we do not have all the details of this government decision in Pristina. We as minister have accepted a written decision, which is CEFTA regional agreement”, the Bosnian Minister for Clix.ba has said, broadcasting Express.
Kosovo isolates itself from this community. We will call for urgent response of the CEFTA Secretariat and other competent troops”, he added.
The European Union has also emerged against this decision. EU spokeswoman Maja Kocijancic yesterday has said that such a decision should be suspended urgently.
While, Serbia has threatened dialogue interruptions unless this decision by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo is lifted on products imported from Serbia and Bosnia
