Pregnant women are often and have to take great care of their health. Mothers must always be careful in every detail, both in their diet and in their sleeping positions.
In a recent study of this, it is not recommended that pregnant women sleep on their backs. Pregnant women sleeping on their backs during the third quarter are expected to suffer more during childbirth, according to a new study.
There would be a 3.7 percent drop in births if all pregnant women in Great Britain slept on their sides during the last quarter, the study estimates. This research has found that infant heart rates are less active when their mothers sleep on their backs, which may be because of the weight of fetuses that pressure blood vessels and thus limit their oxygen supply.
