Currently, the political spectrum in Kosovo has different opinions on whether Kosovo should focus on dialogue for normalisation of reports with Serbia, as the main issue of its policy, or should focus on other issues that concern state empowerment and internal subjectivity.
Politologists and political analysts say Kosovo policy in a move has in itself reduced Serbia's role in relation to the state of Kosovo.
Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has said that without a final agreement with Serbia, Kosovo will continue to have obstacles and blockades. With the president's approach, they disagree not only with the opposition, but also with the prime minister and part of the Kosovo government. The latter, as a counteraction measure against Serbian politics, decided to increase the tax on imports originating from Serbia and Bosnia from 10 per cent to 100 per cent. Such a move, not only is it not believed to help the dialogue, but it also fails it, while Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq had declared that without the removal of the tax, there will be no more talks.
