The Kosovo Assembly has not even tried to put President Thaci red lines in dialogue with Serbia, a day before he meets with Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vuciq.
At the request of the resolution's initiator, the Democratic League of Kosovo, this issue has withdrawn from the agenda at Wednesday's session. The proposor, but even the ruling parties have tried to pass this development quietly, writes Koha Ditore.
LDK Parliamentary Group Deputy Chairman Armend Zemaj has used the Assembly of Headship, which in the agenda had another issue, to call for the withdrawal of the resolution vote.
Sources of the “Cohe Ditore” within the meeting have said that the Speaker of the Assembly, Kadri Veseli, ironised with the LDK's setback, asking Zemaj that “is Avdullah Hoti and why he hasn't come to justify withdrawing from what he has been demanding for a long time”. While Zemaj has told him that “we are for consensus, before the resolution is put to the polls”. At the same time, Zemaj has demanded that this job not become too big.
