It is difficult to be a parent because you have to cope with a number of chronic diseases, asthma, intolerance to milk, behavioral disorders. So you need to be a careful and attentive parent to avoid as much as you can contact your child with your illness. But Dr. Shereat-Klain in her newest book, protects a child's way of life with germs present on earth.
Today's <x0-parents are constantly trying to keep children away from things that are critical to their health”, says Shereat-Klein, neurolog and mother of three children, but she points out that those children who are kept out of the dirt and are affected by contacts are more exposed to infections than other children.
“Microbes, fresh foods, time spent in nature, can significantly improve the health of children.”, it is further expressed. Research conducted in recent years results in millions of microbes found in nature playing a vital role in the health of young children.
In her book Shereat-Klain, she writes that over-hypigising our lives, deprived ourselves of biodiversity, makes us more vulnerable to allergies. “Studies show that children growing on farms are less likely to face such problems as allergies and asthma, not because there are more bacteria on farms, but because of the biodiversity of bacteria on earth. ”
Make your children play in the dirt. Join them! Get dirty with mud and don't be afraid to get a bite or two. Spend a few hours a day in the woods, parks, mountains.”, she says.
Shereat-Klein admits she was like other parents until her son Erez faced health problems, which forced her to read more about feeding, healthy living. After she learned that her son had soybean allergies, which could hinder the brain's well - being, she decided to completely change her diet in her family.
It points out that no drastic change in lifestyle is needed, nor does it support vegetarians but expresses the need for the introduction of a variety of foods grown in nature and the more time spent in nature.
