Hungary backs agreement coming out of Kosovo- Serbia

President Hashim Thaci said today that important decisions are expected in the coming days, such as for Interpol, visa liberalisation and the founding of the Kosovo Army.
He made these comments during a meeting with Hungary's Foreign Minister Péter Szijártó, with whom he talked about co-operation between the two countries and developments in the region.
President Thaci thanked Minister Szijártó for Hungary's continued support for Kosovo at each forum and expressed satisfaction with expanding co-operation between the two countries in all sectors.
“We are grateful for your support and for your contribution to building lasting peace in Kosovo and in the region”, President Thaci said.
While talking about the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, President Thaci said a new moment and global reconciliation have been created for Kosovo and Serbia to reach comprehensive peace agreements.
While, Hungary's foreign minister said in support of expanding co-operation between the two countries and efforts to build lasting peace in Kosovo and the region.
“We are among the largest contingents in KFOR and we will increase our contribution even more, proving our commitment to peace in Kosovo and in the region”, Szijártó said.
Speaking of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, Minister Szijájártó said Hungary supports the agreement reached as a result of talks between the two countries.
President Thaci at the end of the meeting stressed that relations between the two countries should deepen even more.
