Haradinaj warns review of property decision in the north if there are legal violations

Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has commented on his decision to withdraw from the privatisation process and to bear a number of properties managed by the Kosovo Privatisation Agency (AKP), owned by the North Mitrovica municipality, Klokot and Ranillug. Prime Minister Haradinaj for Kosovo Press has said that if all other Kosovo municipalities, even Serb majority municipalities have been approved for social property.
He has denied to be this within the implementation of the Serb majority municipalities' Association.
The prime minister has taken an example of the Youth Palace for carrying the competencies of this company to the Pristina municipality.
However, it has not ruled out the possibility of reviewing the decision if one finds it in disarray with what it wants Kosovo's ratings or law.
While, the AKP has yet to accept any official information on the decision.
AKP officials have told Kosovo Press that the Kosovo Kosovo Privatisation Agency has so far rejected any official information concerning the eventual transport of social property to local government, as reported in northern Mitrovica municipalities, Ranilug and Klokot, respectively.
While, the Group for Juridical and Political Studies (GLPS) estimates that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo should play a pro-active role and promote the co-operation of the Serb majority municipalities with Kosovo institutions. However, recent decisions are actions that serve only the increasing autonomy of Serb majority municipalities in Kosovo and expand the scope of Serbian List influence.
GLPS estimates that the decisions of the Government of Kosovo are not only urgent, but are against the interests of the Republic of Kosovo and the possibility of order and law being implemented unconditionally by individual demands of municipal leaders in Serb majority municipalities.
According to GLPS, autonomy for Serb majority municipalities has no other dimension and can only be revealed in this form, where government and central institutions relinquish their competencies to govern with its properties on Kosovo territory.
Finally, GLPS calls on the prime minister, and other members of the ruling coalition to keep in mind that such decisions should be aimed at better local governance, but never directly or indirectly empowering a particular political group, which in this case is the Serb List.
