A new study published in the magazine “European Heart Journal” says that when it comes to the anti-old effects of training, cardio is their queen.
Training such as running, swimming or cycling and high-intensity training (HIIT) slowed signs of aging at the cellular level.
A team of German scholars classified 124 healthy but inactive adults between the ages of 30 and 60 years in four groups. One group continued with their exercise routines, while three other groups sweated their bodies for 45-minute sessions three times a week for 26 weeks.
At the conclusion of the study, people in all three HIIT groups had experienced anti-aging effects due to their training, while inactive training groups did not experience that.
These effects of biological clock reduction were measured at a cell level, examining white blood cells. /Botasot
