If you enjoy your morning coffee, good news will come to you! According to one recent study, scientists have concluded that only one cup of coffee a day reduces the risk of developing liver cancer by 50%.
Research conducted by author Dr. Oliver Kennedy, from Southampton University in the United Kingdom and his colleagues were announced in “BMJ Open”
Some 40,710 new liver cancer cases were diagnosed in the U.S.
People with liver disease have a higher risk of developing HCC, especially those whose liver has been damaged as a result of B or C hepatitis infection, or chronic liver disease, automune disease, and alcohol abuse.
But according to Dr. Kennedy and his colleagues, growing coffee consumption during a day helps reduce HCC development, even among adults who suffer from liver disease.
