We live in the golden age of technology, so no matter how hard we try, we cannot avoid its influence on any human activity, including parenting.
All of us are busy all the time, so often a tablet or smartphone is the only solution for the child if you want to finish a comfortable job. But there is a sad truth for young ones who start to prepare with technology at very young age. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics AAP, parents who allow their young to play with tablets or telephones starting at 15 months of age make a huge mistake.
Not only because this way affects their vision but also because children gain some kind of independence to play alone. This means that if you let your little ones play with an iPad without your supervision, you are jeopardizing. Because at this age, (about 15 months), children learn to explore with their own social interactions, seeing and imitating adults who do the same. This does not mean that you stop them from this mode of interaction, nor does it mean that you stop educational games in smartphones or on tablets, but the advice that comes from pediatrics is to stay with them not to let them act alone so that they feel individual and later indifferent.
You have to sit in front of them ever interfering with what's going on in there. Not only do you teach them the game, but sometimes the “you tear down” to get attention and teach the little ones to “the opponents”.
