Boy or girl? Albanians continue to be looking for the boy to this day. Boy means victory, girls loss.
“E I have a son, is the pillars of the house”, says a mother in maternity ward, who was just born.
The cases of mothers forced to have an abortion are many, although it is prohibited by law.

A recent study in the country shows frightening information about selective abortion.
“Since 1990 until today, there are 33 thousand missing girls in Albania, says Eglantina Bardi, from “Together For Life”.
“We hold the top place in Europe”, unfortunately acknowledged medical doctor Reuben Moisiu, former maternity director.
