Today data from INSTAT for 2017 shows that the number of marriages is on the decline, where the lowest record is held by the capital at a rate of 7.1 marriages per 1,000. While the highest number of marriages are allowed by 10.2 per thousand residents, followed by Berat with 9.2, Dibra with 8.7, Durres and Fieri with 8.3, while Elbasan with 8.2 marriages.
Vlora and Shkodra were more or less at the same rate, the first 7.6 marriages per 1000 inhabitants, and the northern city of 7.4. The tent of this year, as well as the one behind us, seems to be less marriage and later. About 23 thousand marriages have been registered in civil offices for 2017, 5.7% less compared to 2013.
