In a video posted on his Facebook account, Wessel has said that the lack of unity is endangering Kosovo in this process.
“We have come to a moment when our internal differences seriously jeopardise our country in this process, empowering Serbia in the international arena and weakening Kosovo. This, we shouldn't allow”, it's Wessel.
He has warned that the US and the EU will not wait indefinitely, due to internal political differences and calculations.
At no cost should we allow ourselves to lose our international partners, with whom we have come here together. We must not allow internal agendas to dominate the state agenda. On the contrary, the lack of unity and potential crisis of confidence divide Kosovo more inside than the external danger. Hence, the risk of internal separation is heavy and risks separation even from outside”, Vessel said.
Furthermore, in his address, Wessel has said that time is very important for Kosovo and that it should not be humiliated. He has requested that urgently address issues related to Kosovo, showing caution and state responsibility.
Today, more than ever, we must trust ourselves and our country. In Dialogue with Serbia, we go as an independent and sovereign state and with unprecedented territorial integrity, for recognition, the seat in the UN, and NATO and EU membership, for peace and stability, for integration of communities, not for division, not for third power, not for association with executive competencies”, Wessel has declared.
Wessel has reiterated that Kosovo's positions in the dialogue are clear and steadfast, and as such they must urgently join the position and opposition on the platform and team.
