Information for Manifesta 2022
In early November the final decision is made for the next city, which will be the host of the Manifesta art celin in 2022. Pristina has been chosen as the most suitable candidate among all other candidates for this event, and we have already pledged through the budget and a letter from the mayor of the municipality a portion of the investment for this organisation.
But, by the jury of the Manifesta requires written guarantees that we can cover at least 50% of the amount needed for its successful organism.
This guarantee requires interilateral cooperation. We have applied to the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of European Integration, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other partners to support Pristina in this important undertaking, but we need little commitment to final guarantees. So we extend a public invitation to these institutions to take into account this broad co-operation, which would benefit not only culture, but society as a whole.
The film will mean at least 4 million investments in human resources, international networking, adaptation and construction of space for art, culture and urbanism. The motion picture is as artistic and urbanal as the developers. According to some estimates, some 200,000 visitors would visit Pristina, and some 20m euros in revenues could come from this process.
In 2020, Manifesta is organized in Marseille, France. Now we are very close to having this event come to our capital in 2022.
