Vetevendosje MP says there are many shortcomings in Kosovo Army bills

According to him, the first obstacle is the lack of appointment of the Armed Army or Force of Kosovo as part of the transformation. He also added that there are shortcomings in some provisions of the bills, in particular for the period of transformation.

He has said that despite shortcomings he supported the vote of three bills “due to the will to have an army and the opportunity to change shortcomings during the period of transformation”.

Svechla has also criticised the Serbian List for its stance against the Kosovo Army. He has said that if they consider themselves citizens of Kosovo they should understand that the Army has nothing against the Serb minority. “Forcing the important component such as security, should love any citizen”, he said.

He has added that the Army is the last institution to have shortcomings in the law or even capacities.

The unfair report between Kosovo and Serbia”, according to Svecla, has enabled Serbia to react to actions to boost security in Kosovo.

“We need less army members in the vicinity of Albania, Montenegro and Macedonia, but we need more in the vicinity of Serbia because it has aspirations to the territory.
