Valley residents feel foreigners in Kosovo

The cause of lack of residence and citizenship, Aslan has penalised his projects as an actor many times.

Adding that every time he wanted to apply, he has been asked over 13 documents.

I guess every project that I've worked on so far, in terms of professional projects, I've been having a problem with payments and citizenship. They've all asked me, do you have permission of Kosovo even if you have IDs, residences and such a mess with banks after all, because dwellings have changed, I'm not in the same apartment. Even the transfers to my apartment have delayed me, or I've been troubled, is going to verify those previous documents, I'm talking about the documents of Serbia that I've been incompatible to”, Aslan added.

According to the director of the Department for Citizenship, asylum and Migration, Valon Krasniqi, under the old foreign law, has been unable to equip residents of the valley with residence permits.

According to him, they are currently drafting an administrative directive to regulate their status.

We as a department have faced many demands on their part to equip ourselves with residence permits or other Kosovo documents. However, the old law was unable to equip them because they failed to meet some of the criteria that were in the foreign law. Now with this direction it means that some facilities are provided so that their status can be adjusted once always “, Krasniqi said.

This administrative directive, according to Krasniqi, will be drafted by the end of this year.

He has stated that as a result of no permission equipment, residents of the Presevo Valley, but even residents from other countries, have faced many difficulties.
