Unbelievable. Albania takes Captain of Kosovo

Ardian Ismajli is expected to be the youngest name to join the Albanian football national.

Split's 22-year-old Hajduk defender, former captain of the 21-year-old Kosovo representative, has long wanted red colors and is very close to realising this dream because it has already ended every bureaucratic obstacle to make the big step.

The defender has been equipped with the Albanian passport by Republika President Ilir Meta and is expected in November to receive an invitation from Panucci to join the nationals in gathering for the challenge of Nations League with Scotland and friendly the next few days with Wales.

The footballer currently militant in Croatia with Hajduk of Split can play both in the centre of defence, where he stands out with his skills on the right hand, which makes a significant reinforcement for this department in the red group.

The young footballer played his last match with the 21-year-olds of Kosovo, last October 16th, when he was in the field losing 3-0 in the transfer to Israel, but the lack of an invitation from Kosovo's first representative coach Bernard Challandes has apparently been the last episode that has pushed the defender towards Albania.
