A Turkish citizen is in trouble with the law, for abuse of a police emergency line.

He called the police 45,000 times and this could leave him behind bars for up to 5 years.

Identified of Seref Can, 55-year-old faces the charge of “preempting a public official from carrying out his task”.

In all, he managed to call the 155 police number in Truqi 45,210 times a year, causing great stress in the emergency service.

His behavior is very sad because he was depressed and simply wanted to talk to someone.

I divorced my wife two years ago. I've been drinking all the time. I was depressed and I had no one to talk to so I called the police emergency line,”He told the police.

But the police are not impressed by his words so they put him in the face of criminal prosecution and he can face at least five years in prison.

And finally at least 55-year-old realized his wish and found people to speak.
