Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has participated in the “Strategic Dialog for the Western Balkans . The meeting of leaders”, organised by the World Economic Forum in Geneva of Switzerland, where he has talked about the need to achieve political stability, praising it as “the <x2x3> for the economic development of the region.
He has said he is working on reaching a peaceful agreement with Serbia through dialogue in Brussels.
“Political stability produces economic development, so we are working on reaching an interstate agreement that stabilises our entire region”, the head of the country said.
Thaci has said it is an advantage both sides are in favour of reaching this agreement, and the entire international community, the US and the EU, support its achievement.
The results should not be prejudged, but we should all be unique in supporting the Kosovo dialogue process Serbia”, President Thaci said.
Participants in this closed meeting supported efforts to build political stability in the Western Balkans, both a prerequisite for development and attracting foreign investment and economic growth.
