Syria's Air Force managed to oust more than a third of the missiles thrown by Israeli planes on 17 September, Syrian Foreign Minister Valid Mualem said.
Syria's PVO systems successfully rejected the Israeli missile attack and dropped more than a third of them”, said Mualem, Lebanese television El-Mayadin reported.
He expressed confidence that the Syrian PVO is capable of preventing attacks by Israel and other states.
According to the minister, the purpose of the Israeli Air Force attack was to prolong military conflict in order to destroy the success of the Syrian army and its allies in freeing the country from terrorists,
