First subject expected to be released from VAT even for producers

With fiscal reforms taking effect in January of this year, the release of raw materials from the VAT for importers was done, but not for producers as well.

Finance Minister Bedri Hamza's adviser, Lulzim Rafuna, has told the paper that this bill is the biggest reform in the country. According to him, the government last month has approved corporate income tax and professional income tax bills, which are harmonised with EU directives and regulated in the way of taxing insurance companies in line with constitutional principles and other laws in Kosovo.
