Pregnants who suffer from insomnia are present at the risk of premature delivery, show data collected by 2,625 interviewed.
Research has shown how those with insomnia or another disorder that affects sleep quality, for example, are born before 37th week of pregnancy in 14.6 percent of cases.
In other participants the birth rate before the 37th week of pregnancy is 10.9 percent.
The supplementary analysis of respondents who were born before the 34th week of pregnancy has shown the twice as high risk of those with insomnia or apne.
Research results are published in the magazine Obstretics & Gynecology.
