The Social Democrat Party has invited Labour and Social Goods Minister Skender Recica to the interface over the deaths and injuries of workers at the workplace.

Through the media report, this party has remembered that during the past 19 years alone, 93 workers have lost their lives, mainly in the construction sector.

This is aimed at adopting the following recommendations:

The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo calls for the Government of Kosovo and the Ministry of Labour and Social Goods, which, in co-operation with the Ministry of Finance, under next year's annual Budget Law, in this case for 2019, triple the number of job inspectors, who are within the framework of the work Inspectorate with the number and total sum as follows:

At the Business Organisation “the Ministry of Labour and Social Management” with organisational code 209, with functional code 0412, the number of workers out of 70 to increase to 210 workers, and the total amount in euros to increase to 1,865,721 euros.

The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo seeks from the Ministry of Labour and Social Management to establish the Legal Base for Job Disaster Insurance. Establishment of the legal base would enable the creation of a joint fund of employers and employers, which would provide Kosovo workers and families with dignity in cases of disaster at work.
The Kosovo Assembly requires the Ministry of Labour and Social Management to begin, and if it has begun to speed up work on changing the Labour Law and the Law for Protection and Safety at Work.
The Ministry of Labour and Social Management reports to the Parliament within 30 days of actions it has taken at 2 and 3 of this resolution.
