Demonstrators said they were particularly angry at the mayor, Virginia Raggi, who, according to them, has failed to keep pre-election promises.
I am 66 years old and have never seen this more polluted, more disorganized city”, says one of the demonstrators, Franco Monti.
And the mayor, Virginia Raggi, who is a member of the Five Star Movement, says she needs more time to solve the accumulated problems.
Because of the city cleaners' strike, waste has been collected in the city and citizens are dissatisfied with it.
Protesters have also shown they are unhappy with the city's transportation and other municipal services.
