The Meteori consisted of six pieces combined as a puzzle and was found in Africa. He had a total weight of 5kg and is known as Tuesday1789. The official name is the lunar puzzle. The auction house had predicted that the alien stone could reach $500,000 in auctions, Tch reports.
Meteori was found last year in a remote area of Mauritania, in northwest Africa, but experts believe he may have fallen to earth thousands of years ago.
It is considered one of the most significant lunar meteors ever discovered because of its great size and because it had visible signs of partial melting as a result of the extraordinary heat it faced while falling to earth.
