A three-month investigation deadline for Saimir Tahiri is extended

The Randa Criminals Prosecutor postponed the investigation deadline for former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri, who is under investigation for criminal acts “narcotics trafficking conducted in co-operation in the form of the structured criminal group” and “passive corruption of senior state officials”, suggests [...]
According to the decision by the Radda Criminal Prosecutor, provided by ABC News, prosecutors have been taught that prosecutors have asked for more time for Tahiri's investigation, as they are awaiting an answer for a letter sent to Italy, and some investigative actions must be carried out for the response coming from Montenegrin authorities, following a letter of literature sent to this country. The prosecution also explains that some property investigations should be conducted for former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri.
Postponing the investigation deadline until January 17th, 2019 was conducted by prosecutors of the Gentian Osmani case, Dritan Prenci, Vladimir Mara and Arens Cela, following the end of the deadline set earlier by the Court of Criminals for the investigation.
