Al-Quds is the second most powerful armed group in the Gaza Strip after Hamas and the military arm of the jihad Islamic organisation.
In the Gaza Strip, al-Quds brigades often fight using the Quad missile attacks outside populated civilian areas.
Female members of the group became known in December last year after US President Donald Trump recognised Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
Women responded by burning the US flag and pledging to protect Palestine with our souls and blood as they marched through Gaza.
Yesterday they came back to attention after taking part in an exercise at Khan Yunis south of the Gaza Strip.
