Alternative Speaker Mimoza Kusari Lila has said that consensus building is necessary in terms of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
Kusari-Lila declaring itself after the meeting they had with Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselini said that if this consensus among the parties is not reached, then the country must go to the polls.
“Alternative considers it necessary to build consensus. The process of dialogue has begun since 2011 and since then we have 3 different governments. We consider that unless a consensus is reached among the parties and nothing is resolved, we should go to the polls. Kosovo is blocked. The alternative considers consensus necessary among the parties should otherwise be taken to the elections, it cannot be continued further so”, said MP Kusari-Lila, Kosovo Presses.
According to her, this situation has come with the withdrawal of the prime minister from dialogue with Serbia, where the dialogue remained in the hands of the president.
At the meeting called by Wessel, the LDK and Vetevendosje did not attend. In addition to the Alternative, there were PSD present.
