Two Kosovo highways with pay, symbolic price

Road infrastructure in the Republic of Kosovo is one of the country's most important issues. The Kosovo Government's respective dictatorships are currently being worked on.

A controversial issue now and some time that highways in Kosovo will also be paid, has raised attention to many citizens and business representatives.

In this matter, the Minister of Infrastructure, Pal Lekaj has said that the “Ibrahim Rugova” “Arba Xhaferi” highways will be paid, respectively.

According to him, it is a good project meant and not expensive for our citizens and businesses and our country.

There will be no price that will burden the economy of citizens and businesses. It'll be the affordable fee for all”, Lekay said of Indexline.

Furthermore, the first of MI has added that it is still not known exactly when these two highways will be paid.

However, according to competent persons' statements, it is expected that the price for the two highways in question will not exceed more than 5 euros.

Meanwhile, according to the earlier announcement, it is worth stressing that the “Arba Xhaferi” highway to Skopje is expected to be completed this year, respectively.

Otherwise, the tax of the Republic of Albania imposed on citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, which exploits the “Nation Street”, is one of the biggest objections in Kosovo.

In fact, from many economic connoisseurs, such a tax has been described as unaffordable.

Remember, Kosovars using the highway on the Nation's Road must pay the 10 euro tax.
