The two-year prison sentence for former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski by the Court of Appeals has been handed over to the Criminal Court, which will hand it over to the competent judge for sanctions, with what begins the 8-day deadline in which Gruevski must appear in prison and serve the sentence.
Nikola Gruevski for the judge's decision is eligible for complaint, through which he may seek to delay the suffering of the three-day sentence. If the judge rejects the complaint, Gruevski has the right to a complaint to the three-judge Council, which should bring the final decision to postpone the three-day term sentence. If the Council confirms the verdict, then the convict should be put to jail, Telegram Macedonia follows.
Otherwise, the former prime minister was sentenced to two years in effective prison for misusing official office during the purchase of the luxury car “Mercedes” worth 600 thousand euros.
