Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan said in an Ankara symposium that his country is determined to expose Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi's assassin in Istanbul, the AP reports.
“Turkey will state “transparently” any new evidence for the investigation into Khashoggi”, Erdogan said.
He has asked Saudi Arabia to publish the identity of those involved in the killings, regardless of their positions, as all must be tried before the Turkish court.
Kashaoggi, from a royal family living in the US, disappeared on October 2nd after entering the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul. The statements had come from Riyadi that Saudi journalist had left the consulate to announce on Saturday that the journalist had lost his life in a war in the consulate, refusing to be tortured and deliberate.
Erdogan, yesterday he ignored Riyadh's claims that Kashaoggi had died by accident, saying that planning for his murder had taken place days earlier.
