Elez Khan Chairman Stops Late Works of Bechtel-Enkas

Due to the damage to public and private property, the closure of several existing roads and the big night noise by the Bechtel-Enka company, which is implementing the Pristina- Hani-Elez highway project, Elez Khan municipality, has decided to cut off communication and co-operation with Bechtel Enka company.

The head of this Rufki Suma municipality, following several warnings and requests to Bechtel-Enka Company for damage repair, reopening closed roads, pollution and degradation of the environment, dt. 11,10.2018 addressed the general director of the Bechtel-Enka company, Mr. Rhidh Alkhazrai, who announced with the decision to cut off further co-operation and repair the damage caused.

On the same day, with dt.11.10,2018, in late hours of the night, after 23 p.m., President Suma accompanied by Public Services Director Refet Kalis, came to the highway site on the territory of Elez Khan County and interrupted the work of Bechtel Enka Company because of the work done in the late hours of the night that prevented the normal lives of citizens from being created.

As long as the company Bektel Enka will not repair all the damage done on public municipal property and non-exploited private properties, the municipality of Hani of Elez, will not allow this company to use municipal public property.
