The education minister leaves two state cars in the parking lot, rents cars from his brother's company

Minister of Education, Science and Technology Shyqitti Bytyqi has allowed two cars owned by his ministry to drown in the parking lot and to rent another car to the company “Portche Kosova”, where his brother, Agush Bytyqi, works, which according to the law in power constitutes violation of the Law for Prevention of [...]
Although at the beginning of his mandate, Minister Bytyqi had started using two ministry cars, a Jeep-type car and a “Suzuki Kizashi”, this had changed quickly when he for his needs had rented the car “Pugeot 308” from the company “Portche Kosova”. According to well-informed sources, within the ministry, the rented car is paid by the ministry at a monthly price of 470 euros.
Periscope has tried to get an official response from the Ministry of Education on this issue, but has encountered denial of a transparent clarification. After several hours of demands for an answer, the portal from the ministry has been returned to a brief response and with accusations of journalist for biased questions.
The question seemed very biased and does not stand at all”, was the ministry's response to Periscope, without giving any further explanation regarding the question addressed to it.
To confirm this information, the portal during yesterday has also contacted the company “Portche Pristina” to ask what the minister's brother's commitments to the company are. However, the company staff has refused to give concrete answers, arguing that the competent “person is abroad”.
However, after direct contact with Agush Bytycin, he has admitted working in this company, but has refused to admit that the ministry his brother runs has rented a car in “Portche Kosova”.
He even said that the company he works at doesn't even rent “cars for individuals”.
Who told you? What company? But I work there, but it's true he rented it. Even otherwise Porche Kosova doesn't rent cars. But it doesn't rent cars for any individual”, he said.
But that's not what company agents say. After a phone call in the quality of a car - seeking customer, Periscop's journalist was given an answer, where they were not denied the opportunity to rent a car. The only problem was, according to the agent, the company didn't actually have cars available for rent.
“We don't currently have cars renting”, said one of the company's sales agents, which implies that the company also exercises this business activity.
Furthermore, even in the registry of the Kosovo Business Record Agency (ARBK), among many areas of business activity in the company, it is clearly said that “Portche Kosova” also exercises activity: “Holding and renting (lysing) cars and motor vehicles”.
Article 9, of the Law for Prevention of Conflict of Interest in the Public Function Army says that the official is forbidden “to influence the decision of any official or organ because of the unfair benefit of himself or of any other physical and legal person”.
