Daci considers Milosevic's applicant for academic plagiarism

At the October 8th 2018 meeting of the Commission for Education, Science, Technology and Culture, members of the <x0-interra organisation”, which has recently monitored the work of AAK, have accused this institution of “playering” of public money.

These charges have been addressed to AShaAK, due to the research findings “Criza at the” academy, author of which is Shkelzen Gashi from the <x2Integre” organisation.

The findings of this research, members of this organization have been described as disturbing and disgusting, because, according to the data, of four major projects in this institution, only one has been completed, three members of it are accused of plagiarism, most books are reprints, etc.

In terms of charges on the quality of publications and the Academy's projects, Chief President Daci told Economy Online that this institution has the most important publications of projects and books.

He added that the Academy would always help state institutions, as he said, for the benefit of citizens and youth.

I don't argue with NGOs, the fact that they've given to publishing scientific works is false, inaccurate. The State has made the building, and the Academy has the most important publications of projects and books throughout the years. What others do is theirs. I never got into arguments that I don't think, but the Academy will always be helping state institutions for the benefit of Kosovo citizens and youth, these other resources make that one organisation lobbies for something and one for something, the Academy doesn't care about it”, Daci told E.O.

Asked about one of the research findings “Kriza at the academy”, which says that out of 22 regular AAK members, only 3 have three works published in international academic journals, while of the 16 corruption members, 8 of them have works published in international academic journals, 3 out of 1m, 3 out of 3 other works and 2 of 6 works respectively, Daci reiterated his position that no <x2kycs are not based on such controversy as 153x>

In the book that is, it's good to all organizations to see that it's short and very long of the Academy chairman and there you see how many works are published abroad, how many books and for all, there are many events at the Academy, you don't care, but they just wait for whatever they can with hoe, not just the academy, but all of them, so I don't get in such controversy without a basis<1>, Daci said.

Daci has also responded to the statements by members of the organisation <x0Winger”, which at the Education Commission, held on October 8, 2018, have said the Academy of Sciences has been more active in Milosevic's time than it is now.

I haven't heard them, they're nostalgic to Milosevic's post. The academy has written down the constitutional declaration, MPs from that period have read what the Academy has written, the Constitution of Kacanik is also from the academy, while those who nostalgic to Milosevic the good way together to Milosevic” have said Daci.

Shkelzen Gashi, from the organisation <x0Integre”, simultaneously the author of research “The crisis at the VMROx3> Academy of Sciences and Arts of Kosovo since 2007 has received nearly 10m euros and out of four projects that have had only two have been realised.

According to Gashi, the two projects realised have many remarks and are unprofessional.

He added that of the 10 million, 2/3 budgets have gone for salaries and academics' wages.

Gashi cited academics who, according to him, have done plagiarism and that no one has taken any step on the issue.

We've got three people who've been plagiarized, we've got Nexhat Daci of Musa Lieman's plagiarization, we've got Sabri Hamit who's been plagiarizing and we have Arsim Morina, who's also from the medical field. There are three members of the Academy that have come up with solid facts in media over the years, mainly after the war for their plagiarisation, and the Academy has taken no measure of”, Gashi added.

In research “Crizia at the VMROx1> Academy, among other things, writes: “in 2018, the AAK Assembly for chairman chose academics Nexhat Dacin, who on November 10, 2010 was sentenced by the District Court in Pristina to 18 months in prison on condition of abuse of official office. This ruling was confirmed by a Supreme Court jury, with two local judges and one of EULEX”.
