Chinese billionaires are leading, given that their numbers are growing almost twice as fast as the number of billionaires in South America, North America and Europe, broadcast CNN, records albinfo.ch.
There have been only 16 billionaires 12 years ago in China, since then their number has increased by over 2,200 percent to the present 373. China now has an estimated 20 percent share in the total number of billionaires in the world.
Evidently, the number of billionaire women rises, with 2158 in 2017, which is nine percent more than a year ago.
However, women still have a small percentage in the total number of billionaires, with only 11 percent.
