So said the former N1 mediator in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, Robert Cooper, broadcasts Koha.net.
The British diplomat is participating in the Belgrade Forum, which in the next three days will gather 700 participants from Serbia, the region and the world.
One of the forum topics will also be the new phase of dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo.
“I think it would be good for Belgrade to have clear policy for Kosovo, end up being your neighbor. After all, you will not succeed if you do not know him. When and how, it is Serbia's problem, your problem, but recognition should happen at some point. To do that, it takes a determined lead”, Cooper said.
He has added that exchanging territories between Serbia and Kosovo is not a bad idea, but that exchange should be done with greater care.
