City is expected to have a major shortage in the Liverpool match

Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan was injured last night during the Champions League match against Hoffmanheim, by which he was replaced by the match.

The player suffered a wound just a few days before Cizzens face Liverpool at Premier League this weekend.

Gundogan left in the 68th minute after a walking injury and is now a suspect of facing Liverpool in Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

His seat in this den is expected to be occupied by midfielder Bernardo Silva, who is going through excellent shape.

“Gundogan has a problem with his muscles, doesn't know about his injury. We'll check it out tomorrow. But Kevin De Bruyne has started training with us, so it's the first step”, Guardiola said after the match.
