On the evening of October 12th this year, Kosovo police during a routine search had stopped a car, within which it had found weapons without permission and drugs.
The vehicle in question is owned by Enver Maximus, but was being driven by his grandson, who is the son of one of Kosovo's top security people, Shpend Maximus.
The AKI chief's scandal with his son has confirmed the Kosovo Police Information Office.
But, later, Kosovo police have taken care that through a communique sent to the media, it removes every stain of the name of the son of Shpend Maximun, Salvation, to which even a criminal outcry has been raised.
Through this letter, the police excuse Maxhun's son against the items found in his car.
The gun, the bullets, the narcotics and the other stuff, the police are saying it wasn't Maxhun's son's property.

“As a result of continuing the investigation, police units have also been interviewed by the fourth suspect ( R. M ), who has declared that the weapon is his own and that the same one has forgotten it in the atrophated car and that it does not belong to the suspects (S. M)”, said the police report.
In support of the son of Shpend Maxhun, the prosecution has also emerged, who is also trying to excuse the son of Chief of AKI.
Pristina Deputy Chief Prosecutor Ibrahim Berisha has declared he has contacted the Kosovo Police to get more information about where in the AKI chief's father's car.
Based on these information, Berisha says that Maxhun's son led the car but that the gun and the drugs were not his. According to him, the gun was his cousin, Renor Maximus, and the drugs in a third person's cigarettes.
