BIK is about to hold elections

The Islamic Community of Kosovo will choose today its new mufti and chairmanship for the 2018-2023 mandate.

The elections are held in the conference room at BIK headquarters, reports Indexline.

We remember that in the competition for BIK mufti there are two candidates, Naim Ternava and her member, Reshat Medzit.

For both of these candidates will vote on the electoral body, which consists of 28 Assembly delegates, the 28 heads of the Kosovo Islamic Community Councils in 28 municipalities, as well as a representative from Medreseja and one from the Faculty of Islamic Sciences. /Indesksonline/
