The arrest of the Bytyqi brothers in 1999 is one of the conditions for improving relations between the United States of America and Serbia.
That's what the American ambassador to Belgrade, Kyle Scott, told Usanas.
The murder of three American citizens must be solved fairly. Justice for Star, Agron and Mehmet Byqytin is a priority in our bilateral relations with Serbia”, Scott has said.
He has indicated that he has discussed with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, on several different topics, but has said that in respect of that conversation and co- talker cannot tell about the details.
Albanian brothers with US citizenship have been killed by members of Serbia's Ministry of Internal Affairs on July 9th 1999.
They were arrested as they crossed the border and were helping a Roma family cross into Serbia.
Their troops had been found in the spring of 2001 in a mass grave at the RHProv Seloj.
